Research IT Committee
Committee Charter
The Computing Activities Council Sub-Committee for Research Computing, established on October 31, 2016, shall strive to evaluate, assess, and prioritize the computing needs for the research community on the University of Arkansas campus. In addition, every effort will be made to both pair the researcher(s) with existing resources as well as prioritizing equipment and expertise needed. The ultimate goal of the Research Computing sub-committee is to ensure that adequate Research IT infrastructure, be it equipment or expertise, is always available to compliment and enhance the efforts of our research community. Close communications with the VPR and CIO as well as the college Deans will ensure continuity and transparency in the evolution of research computing for the campus.
